Watch the College Baseball World Series or CWS online this season when broadcast from a new home - TD Ameritrade Park Omaha June 18-28/29, 2011. This annual baseball tournament is held in Omaha, Neb. It is the finish for the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship that decides the NCAA Division I college baseball champion.

Eight teams are split into two, four-team, double-elimination brackets, with the winner of each bracket playing in a best-of-three championship series. Game 1 of the 2012 College World Series begins at 5 p.m. Friday, June 15. Before the game begins, a pre-game commemorative coin giveaway takes place for the first several thousand fans followed by a special first-pitch ceremony.

Fans waiting and wondering what the road to Omaha will look like have only to wait till Monday of Memorial Day weekend when the field of 64 is revealed. These teams will battle it out hoping for eventual entrance to the CWS.

The last 2 years, Ray Tanner's squad from South Carolina won the crown and LSU took the title in 2009, so the SEC has an impressive streak started, winning the last 3 years. South Carolina is definitely in contention again, but Florida, Florida State, and UCLA are all right there too. And a varied field can change in an instant over a weekend series.
